The I DRIVE SAFELY - Teen Driver Education course, has been approved by the Texas Department of
Public Safety. Completing this course will satisfy the required 32 hours of training and 14 hours of
behind-the-wheel. After the first 6 hours of instruction, the student must apply for a Texas Instruction Permit from the Texas DPS provided the student is at least 15 years of age.
