While most online Drivers Ed courses have not yet been officially approved by your state, most courts and DMV offices will approve our course as an acceptable alternative to traditional classrooms. Please check with your local DMV for approval.

If you are using AOL as your Internet service provider, you will have activity requirements while online. During some of the longer sections requiring more minutes online, there is a chance AOL will knock you offline unless you remain interactive with AOL. Do not leave the screen alone for any great length of time and remain interactive with the screen.
Yes. Many students have successfully taken this course using WebTV.
If you're unable to view a hyperlink or video while taking your course, you can fix the problem by reinstalling your Adobe Flash player. You should then be able to continue in the course.
If your timer has stalled while taking your course, you can clear your cache on your internet browser. This should prompt the timer to keep moving.
If the video you're watching has frozen, you can clear your cache on your internet browser. This should allow the video to play properly.
To install the Adobe Flash player, simply follow these steps:
- Using your preferred search engine, search for the query, "Download Adobe Flash Player."
- Click on the result link to the Adobe site which says, "Install Adobe Flash Player."
- Click on the yellow button which says, "Download Now."
- Follow the ensuing directions to save and run the application on your computer.
To clear your cache and speed up web browsing, you must first determine which version of Internet Explorer you are running. If you are unsure of which version you currently have, you may perform a Google search for "How to determine browser version," and receive instructions for each browser.
Note: Clearing your cache will delete all of your cookies, temporary internet files, saved form field data, and anything else you have saved on your browser.
To clear your cache using Microsoft Internet Explorer:
Internet Explorer 9.0
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Click Tools in the left menu bar (if opened) or click on the Gear icon in the right toolbar.
- Click Internet Options and choose the General tab.
- Click the Delete... button under the "Browsing History" section.
- Make sure you uncheck "Preserve Favorites Website Data" at the top of this window.
- Make sure you check all options below "Preserve Favorites Website Data".
- Click the Delete button. - Deleting files could take awhile if you have a lot of files and history.
- Click OK to close window.
Internet Explorer 8.0
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Click Tools in the left menu bar (if opened) or click on Tools in the lower right menu bar.
- Click Internet Options and choose the General tab.
- Click the Delete... button under the "Browsing History" section.
- Make sure you uncheck "Preserve Favorites Website Data" at the top of this window.
- Make sure you check all options below "Preserve Favorites Website Data".
- Click the Delete button. - Deleting files could take awhile if you have a lot of files and history.

- Select the Time Range to clear (drop-down menu). - Select Everything to clear all cache.
- Click Details to choose what history elements to clear. - e.g. cache and cookies
- Click the Clear Now button.
- Exit and re-launch the browser.
Firefox 2.0 - 3.0
- Click Tools in the upper toolbar and select Clear Private Data.
- Check Cache and cookies. - Note, you can select other data you would like to clear as well
- Click the Clear Private Date Now button.
- Exit and re-launch the browser.

To clear your cache and speed up web browsing using Safari:
- Open Safari
- Click Tools in the left menu bar (if opened) or click on the Gear icon in the right toolbar.
- Select Reset Safari from the drop-down.
- Choose what history and other elements to clear.
- Click the Reset button.
- Exit and re-launch the browser.
Note: Clearing your cache will delete all of your cookies, temporary internet files, saved form field data, and anything else you have saved on your browser.
To clear your cache and speed up web browsing using Chrome:
- Open Chrome
- Click the Wrench Icon (Tools menu)
- Select Options
- Select Under the Hood on the left, click Clear browsing data... in the "Privacy" section.
- Select the items you want to clear (e.g., Clear browsing history, Clear download history, Empty the cache, Delete cookies and other site data). You can choose the period of time for which you want to clear cached information from the Clear data from this period drop-down menu. To clear your entire cache, select Everything.
- Click Clear browsing data.
- Close tab.
- Exit and re-launch the browser.
