How To Get Your License in Nevada
1. Complete I DRIVE SAFELY's Online Driver Education course
- Obtain certificate of completion
2. Apply for an instructional permit
- Minimum age: 15 years, 6 months
- Fee: $5.25
- Must pass a written test and vision exam
3. Complete Behind-the-Wheel training
- Driving with a parent, guardian or other instructor
- Requires 50 hours of instruction, 10 of which must be a completed at night
- Dates and times of your driving experiences should be noted in the Beginning Driver Experience Log as they occur
4. Apply for a driver’s license
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Fee: $5.25
- Must pass a vision, knowledge, and behind-the-wheel test
