Yes. Our online Indiana Driver's Ed program is approved by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute and meets all requirements necessary to get your Indiana drivers license.
You must be 15 years old to enroll in teen drivers education.
*Effective July 1st, 2010, you will need to be 15 years old to enroll in teen drivers education.
Once you've completed our Indiana Driver's Ed course, we'll send you a Certificate of Completion. You'll then take this to a Behind-the-Wheel school, and they'll give you a Certificate of Drivers Education. Then, you can go to the BMV and apply for your permit.
You must hold your learners permit for 180 days and complete 50 hours of supervised driving, 10 of which need to be at night. You may only drive with a licensed instructor, a licensed driver who is at least 25 years old, or a spouse that is at least 21.
You must be 16 years and 180 days old to apply for your drivers license.
*Effective July 1st, 2010, you will need to be 16 years and 180 days and have taken drivers ed. If you haven't taken drivers ed, you need to wait until you are 16 and 270 days old to apply for your license.
Yes. There is a 50-question final exam at the end of our course. Students are required to pass with a score of 80% or higher.

This course was developed so that any system with Internet can display the course online. The course works with standard browsers like Internet Explorer or Netscape. Other than the possibility of upgrading your Flash program, there is no requirement for any software installation. If you have any trouble displaying our course, contact our customer support group at 1-800-990-2814.
If you are using AOL as your Internet service provider, you will have activity requirements while online. During some of the longer sections requiring more minutes online, there is a chance AOL will knock you offline unless you remain interactive with AOL. Do not leave the screen alone for any great length of time.
Yes. Many students have successfully taken this course using WebTV.

Yes. If you have been cited for a DUI infraction, and/or have a major accident/traffic violation, your license may be revoked or taken way.
If you are under 21 years of age:
- It is illegal to purchase beer, wine, or hard liquor.
- It is against law to carry an alcoholic beverage in your car unless your parent accompanies you.
- If you are convicted of DUI, the court can seize your vehicle for up to six months. You will have to pay a storage fee to retain it.
- If convicted of a first DUI, you may have to spend time in jail and pay a fine. The DMV must revoke your driver license for one year or until you are 18, whichever is longer. You must show proof of insurance, proof of completion for the educational component of a licensed DUI program, and pay a DMV reissue fee.
