Georgia Drivers Permit

 HOW TO GET A GEORGIA DRIVER'S PERMIT (CLASS CP)
Before applying for your Georgia Driver's Permit, you will need to have completed a Joshua's Law Online Driver's Ed course and be at least 15 years old.

You should also have an ADAP card from completing a Georgia Drug and Alcohol Awareness Program. The Georgia Alcohol Drug Awareness Program (ADAP), which is usually taught in 9th grade in both public and private Georgia schools, teaches teens about the dangers and effects of drugs and alcohol on the mind and body. After completing the course over four 1-hour sessions, students receive an ADAP card, which serves as their certificate of completion.

You will receive your Georgia driver's permit after you present your Joshua's Law Online course certificate of completion. You will need to take and pass a written test at the DDS. Permit holders are allowed to drive so long as a licensed driver over the age of 21 is in the passenger seat.

 HOW TO GET AN INTERMEDIATE GEORGIA DRIVER'S LICENSE (CLASS D)
The Intermediate Georgia Driver's License is available to everyone who has successfully held onto their permit for 12 months and is under the age of 18. To apply, just make an appointment for a behind-the-wheel test at the Georgia Department of Driver Services and pass it. Passing is easy as long as you apply everything you learned in your Georgia Driver's Ed online course.

As you will learn after completing your Joshua's Law online course, you will not be granted full driving privileges with the Class D Georgia Driver's license.

• For six months, only family members are permitted as passengers
• During the following six months, you are limited to just one non-family member as a passenger
• Driving between midnight and 6 in the morning is prohibited

If you successfully hold your Class D license without receiving any major traffic violations for 12 months, you will be granted full driving privileges.

 GEORGIA DRIVERS PERMIT COURSE
The great thing about living in the age of the internet is that you can do pretty much anything from the comfort of your own home. The good news for you is that this includes taking a Joshua Law course that is approved by the state of Georgia too. Your state requires all new drivers to complete 30 hours of classroom training (Joshua's Law) before being eligible to get their learner's permit.  THE COURSE BREAKDOWN:
This Georgia drivers permit course is divided into eight units and each one deals with important driver-related issues. Each unit is loaded with entertaining multimedia features, so you will be guaranteed a good time while you learn. There are short quizzes at the end of each unit to help you review what you have just learned and you can take them as many times as you need. There is also a final exam at the end of the course that is all multiple-choice questions. Every question is take directly from the course material, so you will have no problem with it.
